Hawaiian Sugar Snaps


Serves 4

Served with Ham Steak topped with
pineapple slices and brown sugar


Ingredients:

1/2 cup Sugar Snap Peas
2 Tbsp. minced garlic
1 Lg. tomato, chunked
2 stalks celery, chopped
3 pineapple slices, cut up
1 cup Lawry's 30-minute 
         Hawaiian Marinade
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. olive oil
1 tsp. Basil
1 tsp. Tarragon
1 cup pineapple juice
         (you can use juice from can)

Directions:

Melt butter and olive oil in medium saucepan.  Add onions and garlic.  Sauté.  Add celery and sauté until garlic and onions are browned.  Then add tomato, basil and tarragon.  Simmer until tomatoes are tender.  Add pineapple chunks, pineapple juice, marinade and sugar snaps.  Simmer for about 10 mins.
